SMS Text Messaging Terms & Conditions

By providing your phone number to Standard Florida Mortgage, you agree to receive SMS text messages from us regarding your mortgage inquiry, loan status updates, document requests, appointment reminders, pre-approval updates, rate notifications, follow-ups, and related communications.

SMS Opt-In & Consent

How Customers Opt In

Customers provide consent to receive SMS messages through the following methods:

1. Website Contact Form: Customers fill out the contact form at standardfloridamortgage.com and check the SMS consent checkbox (unchecked by default). The checkbox text reads: "I agree to receive text messages from Standard Florida Mortgage at the phone number provided. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out. See SMS Terms & Privacy Policy for details."
2. Pre-Approval Form: Customers who fill out the Get Pre-Approved form and provide their phone number consent to receive SMS communications related to their pre-approval process, document requests, and loan status.
3. Phone Number Submission: Customers who provide their phone number via phone call, email, or in person consent to receive SMS communications related to their mortgage inquiry, application status, and follow-ups.
4. Lead Generation: When a customer submits a request through a referral partner, marketing campaign, or third-party platform and provides their phone number, they consent to receive SMS communications from Standard Florida Mortgage regarding their requested service.

Types of Messages Sent

• Loan Status Updates: Application received, underwriting updates, conditional approvals, clear-to-close notifications, closing date confirmations
• Document Requests: Missing documents alerts, document expiration reminders, verification requests
• Pre-Approval: Pre-approval ready, credit pull authorization confirmations, rate lock notifications
• Appointments: Appointment confirmations, reminders, rescheduling notifications
• Rate Updates: Rate change alerts, market updates (marketing messages only with consent)
• Follow-up: Post-closing check-ins, satisfaction surveys, referral requests
• Nurture: Periodic market updates and check-ins to past clients (opt-in required)
• Support: Responses to customer inquiries and questions

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your interactions and loan stage. Typical frequency:

• During active loan process: 1-5 messages per day (document requests, status updates)
• Pre-approval stage: 1-3 messages per day
• Post-closing follow-up: 1-2 messages
• Nurture campaigns: 1-2 messages per month

Standard messaging rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan.

Opt-Out

Opt-In Again After Opt-Out

If you have opted out and wish to resume receiving messages, you can:

• Reply START or UNSTOP to any previous message from us
• Contact us at info@standard-fl.com or 561-316-4440 to re-enable SMS communications

Carrier Participation

Participating carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Supported carriers include: AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, US Cellular, and other major U.S. carriers.

TCPA Compliance

Standard Florida Mortgage complies with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), 47 U.S.C. § 227. All SMS communications are sent with prior express written consent from the recipient. We do not use autodialers for marketing messages without explicit opt-in consent. Transactional messages related to an active loan application may be sent as necessary to service your loan.

Data & Privacy

Your phone number and message data are stored securely and used solely for mortgage-related communications. We do not sell or share your information with third parties.
